Supervised Visitation Activity & Outside Location Guide

Practical, approved options for office-based visits, free community spaces, museums, and active fun near our Dallas office at 100 Crescent Court — for children ages 4 through 17.
Every location, activity, and transportation plan must be approved by your visitation monitor before travel or purchase. All plans remain subject to your controlling court order, safety requirements, and program policies. This guide is informational and is not legal advice.

How It Works

Supervised Visitation Activity & Outside Location Guide

Every community-based visit begins at our Dallas office. Families should not go directly to an activity location unless the visitation monitor gives different written instructions.

Driver, seating, car seats, parking costs, travel time, and return instructions are confirmed before the visit.

Before You Choose

Before Choosing a Visit Location

N

Get approval first.

The monitor must approve the exact venue, date, and activity before tickets are purchased.
N

Choose clear sightlines

Avoid dark, maze-like, or highly crowded environments where visual observation would be difficult.
N

Review the court order.

The court order, safety plan, and agency rules control even when a venue’s policies differ.
N

Prepare for weather & sensory needs.

Outdoor visits need a weather backup. Loud, crowded venues may not fit every child.

Do I need approval before choosing a location?
Yes. The visitation monitor must approve the exact venue, date, and activity before your family travels or purchases tickets.
Who pays for admission and activities?
The visiting parent is generally responsible for admission for the child, the visiting parent, and the monitor, plus parking, food, and activity costs — unless your service agreement or court order states otherwise.
Can we arrange alternate pickup instead of returning to the office?
Only with a completed Transportation and Alternate Pickup Authorization, approved in advance. Without it, the default arrangement remains at 100 Crescent Court.
What if this guide conflicts with our court order?
The controlling court order always governs. This guide is an administrative resource, not legal advice — please consult your attorney about any requested change to court-ordered terms.
